DTDW is the unique blend of longtime friends Dan Tanda, Videographer & Music Producer, and Dave Wademan, Professional Bass Player & Session Musician.

The collaboration started online in early 2021. Dan, who is living in Japan, and Dave who is living in the UK, reconnected over video calls. They jammed out a few musical ideas, and immediately they were back in their musical writing groove.

Exploring new and old musical influences, the old friends drew from favourite artists such as
Bonobo, John Hopkins, Clark & Bop to help them form the base of their sound.

With the goal to self-release these musical “episodes” into the world, they produced their first set of singles, RGB.

The duo gained confidence with their sound, and continued to write together to create their debut EP,

“No.4”.

The four-track EP is the next evolution in the duo’s sound, and gives their growing audience the ambient grooves and drum breaks they enjoyed from their previous releases, with an additional layer of melodic jazz inspired keys to gives a new dimension to their tracks.
